So the story is I've been after a particular Jackson Rhoads for maybe 10-ish years...not willing to pay out the wazoo for a USA (and knowing that the highest end MIJ models are equivalent to those) I've kept my eye out for either a Jackson Professional Pro or a Jackson Stars RR TN-01STB. I really wanted a string-thru body so the Stars was my #1 choice. This one has all the USA specs - mahogany body, maple thru-neck with ebony board, mother of pearl headstock logo and mother of pearl sharkfin inlays, Gotoh bridge, Gotoh tuners, Duncan Sh1N/Sh4, etc.
Anytime I saw one (which was maybe...twice) it was either exorbitantly priced or in bad shape (or both). Fast forward to today and caught a beautiful one for just over $1000.
Can't wait to get this thing...will follow up with better photos and a full review!
