As much as I want to put a real OFR in there, unfortunately, there are crackheads wanting ridiculous amounts of money for a brand new OFR, so I am only looking to potentially replace the sustain block.
    Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

Usually Jackson uses 32mm blocks but you want to check it before getting a new one.The sizes are 42mm and then 37 or isit 36 and then 32mm. Also Kiesel funnily have their own size too its 38mm if i recall.
Also yes OFR parts are compatible with 1000 series as is the sustain block for schaller trems the original and the lockmeister. But Gotoh 1996 is not.
As a side note Gotoh 1996 block is compatible with the ibanez Edge trem.

Think this SL27EX needs rewiring and jack socket replacing. bit on the noisy side. If and when Floyd Rose restock the OFR in black, I'll swap out my FRT-1000, swap the output jack and swap the SH-6 for an SH-8 (in yellow of course).

I dunno about the invader but sure don't like the duncan distortion either.

you could try contact cleaner or deoxit on the jack. not necessarily cheaper than a new jack, but less work. spray some in, then insert and remove a guitar cable several times.
