Alright, so I've been looking at getting another import. Now, here are a few questions I have.

Firstly, I'm looking at a DK-2 and a DX-10. Which of these is better?

Secondly, I'm currently looking at DiMarzio pickups. I've heard that you can play a min 7th chord on full distortion with a Steves Special and hear every note, and it doesnt cover up mistakes. Is this true? and if it is, does it still have that kick-all-ass metal sound?

I would go with the DK2 out of those two. It is made in Japan and is considered a higher level guitar than the DX10. The DK2 has a bound neck with Sharkfin inlays and JT580 double locking trem and humbucker-single-single configuration. I think the DX10 is made in India or Korea, but I'm not certain. At any point the DK2 is a higher quality guitar. Also the DX10 has a single locking trem (well at least it did the last I read of them) Humbucker-Humbucker configuration and dot inlays, though I believe the DX10 is discontinued with the DX10D still available. The reason I mention this is because I don't know where you are planning on buying from and there are still some DX10's around, so I thought I would explain the difference between the two. The DX10D has the double locking trem and Sharkfin inlays. Also consider the DKMG and DXMG if you like dual humbuckers. They are made in Japan and are very good. They have dual passive EMG HZ humbuckers, arch-top body on the DKMG, and bound necks with Piranha inlays on the DKMG and Sharkfin on the DXMG.
As for Dimarzio's, sorry I can't help there as I have never had any of those.

Im more toward a DK2 because I already own a DXMG. And when I referenced the DX10, I meant the DX10D, I didnt know they made a plain DX10(Im stupid I know). The DX10D was the first Jackson I ever played, I loved it! But that was then, when I still had a Squier :-P Thanks alot man, anyone know about the pickups?

The Steve's special is a very open sounding pickup.It really depends on the body wood of the guitar as to what it will sound like.The pole pieces are all adjustable so there is room for tweaking.When people make claims about what a pickup sounds like its nice to know what guitar and what amp is being used.I used a SS in my swamp ash star bodied jackson and the sound was very "woody" and open lots of mid range.the bass and treble blend in nicely.The pickup in general is nice all mids, low and highs are rolled off.String definition is very pronounced.
IMO this pickup would not be a good choice in a maple bodied guitar.Alder,basswood,mahogony would be my choice.Remember its all a personal preference thing.
I use a Johnson mellinium stereo 150 amp.
