I bet they're working on the finish and stuff this week, I was told I should get it by the end of the month!

Earlier this week they actually had the dealer forward a couple more pics (of the heel) and asked me to return it with a line where I want the body finish to end and the neck finish to begin!
Now how's that for customer service?!

Probably better idea next time is order limited edition guitars with "The Steve Man" and he will forward you pics and even the guitars directly from Japan.
No need to wait too long like what's happening now.

Ishibashi is a music store chain (roughly similar to Guitar center) in Japan.
They have a good web shop setup, and they have a couple of representatives who deal with foreign customers in English and arrange overseas shipping when needed, etc.
They have this I guess mostly because there is a pretty good demand for Fender Japan products overseas, but they'll sell you whatever you want of course.
They're the ones who set me up with this excellent order.

Well I ordered it back in July, and I was told at that time "some time around november" but last I heard I should be getting it before the end of the month if everything goes well. Pretty cool!
