Mark I thought you'd want to wear the Easton Guitars T-shirt proudly and boldly everywhere you went.

You love to support your Jackson / Charvel dealer, don't you? hehe

I had the guys at Easton switch out the EMG for an Invader. All my other guitars have EMGs already so I wanted something a little different.

Nice.... I have never played a guitar with an Invader. Does it compare to the EMG?

Well, the Invader is very Fat and has the lows boosted on it, much different animal than the EMG`s, especially the 81. The Invader is high output though. Jack.

Got my DK2LE today #21! Very nice neck I just put it down for a few minutes. I really like the EMG-81 and didn't doubt it would rock as I have a set in a Schecter that is basswood? so I knew it would sound killer in this. That pure white color seems too pure almost virginesque. Almost tempting to do a blood splatter finish hehehe. Totally 80's but it might look cool.

Oh and I received the certificate *cough cough* *inkjet* *cough cough* of Authenticity in the box with it. The battery was rattling around but all is fine now. I think duct tape will be needed for anything more than bedroom playing. Anyonew post any sound bytes of their DK2LE yet?

Hehe! Yeah, I was going to say something about the inkjet COA with the Jackson USA pic on it, but you said it well bro!
And yeah, the battery clip on both of mine were held in with a large headed screw that was driven in there sideways so the clip couldn't even hold in the battery. I'm not going to say that the pups may have been dealer installed but according to the rest of the guitar I can't imagine the Jackson factory doing it like that. Looked like a fukking hillbilly job to me.

Received #4 today, complete with loose battery and COA. These are as good as everyone is saying, and the 81 does sound better than any other 81 I've had! The set-up is very nice, ready to play right out of the case.

I'm finally glad I got mine. No more daily correspon"dances" (Racer X: don't shoot me) with KE to find out what went wrong. I almost ran out of cell minutes calling him so much. One good thing though, no I didn't save any money on my car insurance, but I sure can sleep easier at night.
