Slayer, I called an hour ago. I too ordered mine early (4th one to to deposit) and ordered with case. The lack of cases is why mine hasn't shipped yet (apparently there were a lucky 4 people that got theirs shipped with cases before he ran out). He said he was anticipating getting the cases today, and therefore being able to ship out the DK2LEs today. So bottom line is when the cases arrive, that's when the guitars will ship to the remaining people that ordered with case.

Thanks MD!! I called Kevin, because I ordered mine with a case ands it has showed up today without a case, but he said the cases just arrived and he is shipping me out one today or tommorow. By the way, I have #7 of 24 and it is awsome!! I like that is has a thicker neck than the USA Dinky`s and Fusions, much more thick and round, very cool. The one woerd thing though is the fingerboard shoulders are very squared off, much more than a USA Soloist and most guitars. Actually all of my guitars that I own have rounded fingerboards, but i am getting use to it quite quick. I also hear something looses in one of the cavity covers, my guess is it is the battery? I shall seee very soon. Great guitar, so far worth every penny. Jack.

I got mine on Monday. It came complete with missing finish around the edge of the neck pocket and a ground wire came loose. Once I got the ground wire back on I found out why the EMG 81 is in such wide use by the big guys. It sounds great! I noticed the necks are thicker now. I played an 04 DK2 at the shop the other day and that one is thicker too. I like the thicker neck. I'm satisfied with mine. I wish they hadn't missed that thin line of finish though. You can see it plain as day. Bummer. I guess I'm just picky. Bottom line it's a kick ass guitar. I did get 01 of 24. I didn't order a case. Anybody still interested in doing another one next year?

OK, the loose thing is the battery, it fell out of the clip, no big deal. I also noticed to wires that are taped together in the cavity that connects to the battery, is that normal? Anyway, I am loving the EMG 81 in this guitar and the neck is to die for, I am very happy they thickened up the necks some, great neck. I also would be interested in another one, depending on model and specs. Jack.

I would be interested in doing a Rhoads or Kelly. Maybe in the same color scheme and maple neck/fretboard so they would be a matching set.

Jon, I have begun talks with another dealer that I think will work very well for us. I've been trying to get ahold of you for a while so get in touch please.

We have some killer ideas for the next guitar but we're just trying to get organized so this doesn't fall apart.

This is the first guitar that I have liked the EMG 81 in the bridge, but it works very well and actually has some lows to it, maybe I just got a good one, either way it will stay in this guitar and I even have a new EMG 85 still in the box, but it will get used in something for sure. Jack.

The 81 is killer in this thing!!! Yes the neck is thicker than my 02 pre-Fender DK2. I like bothe necks they both serve a purpose, I find the thicker neck on the DK2LE is better for Chords but it still shreds too, the older style neck shreds too but like I said the thicker neck has a bit more versatility. The DK2LE was DEFINITELY worth the wait. It's one solid beast!!!

I too, have always been an EMG85 (bridge) fan. But after hearing hte 81 in the bridge position of this guitar I am now having second thoughts.... Possibly just the guitar that makes the pickup sound so much fuller.

Yep, I love the newer thicker neck profiles myself. If Jackson were to reissue the USA Fusion with this neck profile, I will be on one immediately. As for the 81, man does it have mojo in this guitar, it sounded so thin in my Soloist Archtop, and that one has a mahogany body. Maybe they were wound differently, either way, great guitar all around. Jack.
