+1 for the 24 fret maple + black sharkies Warrior. Sounds like the RR will be postponed to get that 24 fret neck at a later date, which I'd be willing to wait for. I'd prefer the RR first, but I guess I will concede for the Warrior first.

I would love to go for the 24 fret maple + black sharkies Warrior. So that's one more vote for that design. However, I have to have a price quote (at least a rough range if not an exact price quote) before I can commit.

While I'd prefer an RR or Kelly, I will settle for a Warrior if need be (as long as it's 1H, 1V), but I'll need a rough price before I can commit

I would be for either model, but I would like the RR the most. Remember.........keep it simple. Stick as close to the options that are on the DKLE. Kinda like sending em a pic of the DK2LE and say "do this, on this body". 1.Post both mock ups. 2.Have a vote. 3.Add the votes and go with the majority. 4.Submit design to dealer and get a price quote. 5.Wait for confirmation and make deposits. Done and done. Right now I vote for the RR with rosewood board.

Man, this may die in the end possibly, everyone wants something different on this one. Different guitar and options. Even Jon wants the RR with a Rosewood board-oh man. I hope it gets done and if you guys want the RR first, that would be very cool with me, I just don`t care for them. Jack.

Well I think most people agree on it being white with maple board and one hum. After that, there is some differences in options (sharks vs. dots, binding, etc.). But, first things first, we gotta decide on the body. It seems pretty split between an RR or Warrior. Maybe Scott (since he looks like the one that would be getting this done) should get a poll going to decide the body style, then pick options.

We're going to have to slow things down a little here. There are still some big issues getting settled as to minimum order requirements, and we've narrowed it down to two guitars for now. That's all we need to do at the moment.

Scott is getting things worked out with Jackson and it may take a while. We probably won't be placing orders anytime soon, it may take a couple weeks to get definitive answers.

I know you all probably want to know if we are going to do a Rhoads or Warrior for sure, and because of the issues we're having with Jackson I'm not sure I can present the two models as we have defined them for a vote yet. We're still getting answers.

As soon as we know something for sure we'll get a new thread down on the two models, you can get a price estimate from Scott, and we'll see how things turn out.

Don't even bother starting a poll yet, seriously. We're not sure the maple board is going to fly at the moment... from what I've gathered Jackson is being a little difficult on the matter, even thought we just did this whole stupid thing with the dk2le.

Maybe after doing the first run, they thought after it being done it was more than they bargained for? I really hope not. I am patient, in fact i hope it doesn`t go down for a while, as in after the new year. Jack.

I totally agree with the above few posts. I think a poll is in order to at least settle on a body style. That would make it easier for the dealer to at least get confirmation on availability and a ballpark of pricing. Like someone said early in this thread, there can only be a couple of choices or nobody will ever settle on anything. I'll get the poll going.

Wow, 33 voters and it's a close race. I really figured the Rhoads would be way ahead by now but it appears I'm not the only one willing to hold out for a 24 fret version. Besides, I really like the warrior [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Strange I would think the Warrior would be hard to move..... seems like it is pretty popular though go figure... As Zero said sort it out with Jackson and see what options are reasonable and it is way easier to get this run going if we can get it down to 20 instead of 100...
