as for price range... 400-500 would be more in keeping with the spirit of the LE. While I am sure a lot of people would be willing to spend 700 for a semi-custom guitar, at that price range it may also become harder to reach consensus on features, because people are less likely to accept compromises than if the guitar were in the 400-500 range.

Not sure if you can do that unless the guitar already came with string-thru, like the JS30 shapes, the SLSMG, and others. So I guess you want something along THOSE lines. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Folks might want this idea as it's more vintage correct if there is such a thing. Myself I don't care for pinstriping, but I'd still buy one of these.

Whatever the small details that need to be worked out, can we all agree on a maple fretboard? Rosewood or the Ebonized version is just so common and run of the mill for a LE IMO.

Why is everyone so stuck on the damned V shapes?? Those and the Kellys are the most uncomfortable guitars I've ever owned. Now, if it were a warrior in the same theme as DK2LE my checkbook is ready!!!!!! I'll take two!

Yep, I`d go for a Warrior or a Star, either one and i agree, V shapes are hard for me to play, and they ride on the body funny. Jack.

I'd prefer the Reverse, but I'd be happy with either. I also think the black sharkies will make this a standout to go along with the black neck & headstock binding along with the black pinstriping.

Warrior or RR is cool. Black sharks are a must on those shapes IMHO. I wouldn't buy one with dots.
