Ah, that reminds me! I was going to ask about that. I was in GC yesterday playing an RR3 just to confirm that I want a V. As I was playing it, the question about the trem for LE#2 popped into my head. What kind of trem was put in LE#1? If LE#2 is going to be a RR, is it going to be based off the RR3 (bolt-on, lisc. FR, etc.)? Or could it be neck-thru, OFR, etc.?

If I remember correctly, the LE-1 was not available with an OFR. They don't use them in the import factory (I think [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] ) And, I doubt if it could be a neck thru. The idea is to take a lower cost production model import (like the RR3) and modify it slightly (pup rout, color, fretbord material). Actually, I'm suprised the LE-1 was available with a maple FB.

Yeah, we have to keep it in reality. We aren't going to get a neck thru custom import with 5 different modifications for $500.

The idea is to take a production model as a start, modify a few things from there, and add some kind of custom color/finish.

From what I've heard from a couple different dealers is that it is difficult to get Jackson to make very many changes for only 25-35 guitars. So it's a trick on our part and the dealers part to get something we like, that the dealer can talk Jackson into doing.

That's cool. If it ends up being something like the one you drew up or with the maple (please,please!), and in the same price range as as RR3 - I am in!

I agree Scotty, I am all for a Star or Warrior, but I do very much understand the next one being a Rhoads. It`s cool, I`ll jump on the 3rd one if it is a Star or Warrior, no Rhoads-V`s or Kelly`s for me Sir [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Jack.

Why does everyone want a V so bad? I'll admit, a star probably isn't possible on an import, but the Warrior is! (it's almost a star!) C'mon, look at this again.........is it just sweet?

Hey guys, Zero Signal and I have been talking about the next LE and I just want to let those of you who want OFR trems on this next one, if it is indeed a trem model, I will do the labor swap out for the original trem.
Of course you would need to buy the OFR from me as well.
This offer is good only if the OFR fits right in with no routing.

A lot of people want a Rhoads V as the next LE because, as I am sure you know, Randy means a lot to many people on the boards. I personally wouldn't mind having the killer Warrior (with black sharkies) as the 2nd LE, but my preference is still for a Rhoads to be the 2nd one, and maybe we can use the Warrior idea for the 3rd LE?

Of course, if enough people want it, we can do the reverse (have the Warrior as the 2nd LE and the Rhoads, the 3rd)
