wow 100 units!

i would be in for a RR with 22 frets. i don´t need 24 on every guitar but if so, it would be o.k. for me too.
the sharks would be cool, but i would also take it with dots.

the warrior looks cool, but i bought one this year, and because of that, i´m out at the warrior thing.
(maybe the price could change my mind [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] again )


btw. i only need a volume pot and nothing else. please no tone pot.

I'm in sharks or dots. I am fine with 22 fret Rhoads. If the group wants to wait on the Rhoads and do the Warrior this time around that is fine with me also.

Im concerned all together with doing 100 units.
Thats quite alot. But more so for the WRXT. These are hard to sell as it is.
I have been given the poss ok on a 24 fret Rhoads with Maple board and black fins but If I even as much as ask for the ok, I would have to place the order.
I would be excited to do do but will need abundant support.

Notice this that is a very big unit and most of these have to be presold it can't be expected that Scott would hold all the cash for 100 or say 95 units in hopes they would sell...

How much are we looking at cost wise with teh maple and Black Fins? (roughly)

No idea on cost as of yet. The biggest issue at hand was if it even permissible to get these non standard features.

YEah that will determine a lot I guess of commiting to it. On the RR I am very interested in a 24 with above features... I am guessing though you would want about 75-85 comitting to this run though before we could go ahead

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but to me the 24 frets is not top priority. First thing, it has to be an RR. After that, in order:
maple fretboard
black sharks
black neck and headstock binding
black pinstriping/bevels
THEN, 24 frets
That's my $.02!!

yeah, if 100 is the magic number for Jackson, I would certainlay want 75 or better to commit ;-)

I'll try to work up a price for these 2 models very soon.

Hi Scott,

100 units is a pretty high commitment. The DK2LE seemed to be pretty solid around 24. If the RR was 22 frets and dots would that lower the unit requirement? I don't want to see you get stuck with a lot of extra guitars that might sell slow to the general public.

He would have to have the commitment from us to even order it and by commitment that means our $$$$ I am sure a 22 Black Dot would lower the requirement

The main reason the min is 100 unit is because of wood changes.
Im not familiar with all the import models so if three is an RR model that already has maple, then that would not fall into the 100 min order.

But for what its worth, i would REALLY like to see the WRXT or RR model be maple and black fins...
