Wow! I am surprised to hear about Jon's decision and problems. The DK2LE is my sixth guitar and it is the only one that I have not had to tweak, adjust, or modify in some way to get it to play how I like. I am very impressed with the quality of the guitar and KE's setup.

Where are we at with this... If Maple is not available I would go for a Rosewood board 24 Fret Rhoads with Fins... Just haven't heard where we are at in process

We are currently waiting for our dealer to get some answers from Jackson on what they will do and minimum order #'s. Dealer said it may take a couple weeks to get answers so we are just waiting.

At this point it is easy to aggrivate the reps and whoever ok's these decisions at Jackson so you have to go on their schedules, to avoid pissing them off and lose the whole deal. Nothing has really been decided, there are issues with minimum order #'s and issues with wood changes (maple). I know, even though we just did this.

Someone will post when we get some answers.

We're going to approach this issue after the Thanksgiving Holiday.
I have some creative ideas to work this out if the min order has to be 100. I need time to work them out tho.
