If so, someone needs to start a thread asking for serious committments (not just "yah I want one" but not have the funds to set aside for when the time is real), so Scott and Zero can start figuring how close they'll actually come to achieving a specific number... 25/50/100 etc... I have ideas how this could work...

Xeno the big hold up was basically that Jackson wouldn't take our order like we had just done with the dk2le. For reasons we havn't figured out yet.. so we hit a road block. All of a sudden we are getting told we have to order 100 minimum, which is a problem. Otherwise this would be on order allready.

And the other issue seems to be that they aren't all that flexible on dealing with small quantity import runs; they feel they are being lenient to change just one or two things so you can't push the issue much. Scott is having to play the waiting game with them now to fit their schedules better and not risk p!ssing them off and losing the whole thing. We should be hearing something fairly soon.

We are still pushing for maple and black sharks, the maple board has been a little bit of a hang up so far though. And as to Rhoads or Warrior, whatever the consensus seems to be and we get the commitments, that's what we'll go with.

Well you need to decide which you're going to get before you can actually start asking for commitments, I think.

100 would be definitely hard, unless Scott can work some magic with his rep, but that would mean more work for the rep and pushing the series on a larger number of dealers than if the limit could be 50. Guess that's all about waiting for that answer though.

I am personally hoping for the Warrior... since it seems that we *may* be able to get a more special Rhoads if we wait a bit longer.

But we probably need another "official" voting thread to determine what we want to go with...since we may have lost some Rhoads voters to the Guitar Express Rhoads model. Just a suggestion, if people don't think that's necessary and want to stick to the Rhoads (winner of the last vote), that's fine too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
