I've had a few problems with the Import models (and many Epiphones!!)selector switches come through my workshop. If the contact is not very good, the sound is very weak. You need to clean the contact points within the switch with wet and dry paper. 99% of the time, this cures the problem and you have your output back. It's worth a try anyway. I would however, replace the 3-way, as it is the only Far Eastern part left in a full EMG conversion, with a Switchcraft high quality switch.
