  • PS-7 Question

OK I just got this Jackson PS-7 from eBay. I know for sure that I'm changing the configuration to HH, what I'm looking for opinions on are the pickguard and pickup colors. So I made a few mockups...

    Tell me what you think...

I almost bought a green PS7 last year. How do you like it?

Option 4. I'm doing something similar with a Strat body I've got coming soon, three-way toggle, but with H/S configuration and Floyd.
How do you like those Wilkinson trems? I've also got another body coming for H/S/H and it's got holes for a standard 6-screw vintage trem, but I'm thinking of possibly routing for a Wilky.

I've got a Wilky on my JRS-2, I like it. Nice and smooth... However there's the same tremolo issues as one would encounter with a v-trem. But I have sperzels on the JRS-2. (and probably will be some on the PS-7 soon)

Cool, thanks. I'm debating what trem I should route it for. I'll have an original Floyd on the one, thinking of something different on the other. Maybe I should see if they sell those Fender/Floyd trems that look like traditional 2-point trems but have locking saddles, as I hear they're supposed to be a little bit better for tuning stability.

That's a tough choice! I finally voted for option no.4, although I think no.3 looks nice too. Either way would look great I think. Good luck.

Number 2, 4 is also nice, but 3 doesn't work for me.

Hey guys, I like Floyds too, but it's not an option. I don't feel like carving this guitar up. The Wilkinson is just fine and dandy.

Option 4 for sure. Love the zebras with the black pickguard.

Number 4. I have a JRS-2 and I like it with the Wilkinson.I did put Sperzels on mine too. They made a big difference in the ability to keep it tuned.........
