Finally ordered my jackson stars

I finally ordered my future jackson, it should be here in march.

here are the specs

Alder Body, 24 frets, neck through, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, Schaller #1370 double lockin trem, Seymour duncans Sh-1 neck T-b5 bridge, 2 volume 1 tone, in a Blood splatter finish
And i ordered it semi custom with a red jackson logo,black neck/headstock binding instead of the white, and a reverse headstock.

Im really glad about the purchase, ive always wanted a blood splatter warrior but its hard to find em used.

The only unsure thing about the guitar is the pickups, i might swap em out but i dont know if i wanna stick with SD's or get dimarzio's or emg's, ill start thinkin bout it now, i have to wait 3 months anyways.

Sweet deal! It's gonna be a really excellent axe, man.
Come to think of it I shoulda gone for two volume knobs....

And yeah after having mine for about six weeks I'm starting to have second thoughts on the bridge pickup.. it's hot, and sounds really nice, but in comparison the dimebucker just has some extra punch that I'm really liking.

BTW, my Kelly/Kramer mutt (which is where the dimebucker is at now) has found a new job as my drop-C rhythm guitar.. and man, does she cook!
Only thing that would be better is if I could replace 'er with a Jackson Stars 1-hum rhoads with just a dimebucker and a volume knob, ebony/no inlays on the fingerboard. Ugh I get these ideas in my head but I have no money for such....

Anyway, can't wait to see yet another kick-ass Jackson Stars! That's gonna rule!

Sam, where did you "order" a Jackson "Stars" guitar from? You mean a USA Custom? I'm confused. The "Stars" line has been defunct for years now. And even when it was in production there was no capability to order a particular model. Can you elaborate?

Steve ordered his custom STARS Warrior. I think Ishibashi can get you in touch. They send you pictures of all different stages of the custom shop work.

So it's still very much available, and so are the regular stars!

Yeah i ordered it through ishibashi. but not through the site mostly through emails with this person named Noriko.
S/he(i dunno what gender) was really easy to work with and spoke good english. they have really good customer relations.

its called semi-custom, cause its not fully like the usa custom shop.
with them they have the normal model line and u can have modifications done to them. you cant really create like a new shape or anything like in the us custom shop.

Yep. But it's a great great alternative to the US Custom Shop, especially if you want a standard model with some personal touches to it (layout, volumes, electrics, colour, etc)
