I ended up paying $600 w/case for it out the door from my local GC. I happened to wander in there to look for a 7 string to play, and found this beauty sitting on the wall used. I had wanted to play one for a while, and when I sat down with it I was blown away. It was used, but looked absolutely brand new. I knew the pickups had to go, but I had already done my homework on that. Its light, plays great, and is very punchy sounding - exactly what I was looking for in a guitar. I was never a big fan of Floyds either, so the string-thru made it even sweeter.
As far as the dark side goes, its black, evil looking, and pointy, so therefore I figured the saying fit [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]. You guys do have a beautiful collection of guitars, so its a struggle to keep the wallet closed, at least for the time being!
