I prefer the RR3, I hate the where the input jack is placed on the RX10D... you just can't play the guitar while sitting!!

I thought they both have the jack in the lower wing? If the RR3's is actually in the upper wing than I take back my first post, that's enough to make it better.

RX10D, no pick guard, no tone knob, cheaper price. I love mine. What "customizing" are you going to do? Just curious.

thought of getting a cheapy and putting a maple on maple neck on it. Since rhoads have 22 fret 25.5 scale necks it would be real easy to put a warmoth one on.
Maybe even a 24 fret extension to get rid of that neck pickup.

No experience with the RX, but I like my RR3 fine.
It doesn't see a lot of action, becasue I tend to grab
my SL1 first, for some reason!
The RR3 is made in the Japan factory, at least mine was,
and quality is pretty impressive. I'm not sure where
the RX10 is made?

I believe I read elsewhere on the forum that the Warmoth necks don't fit the Jackson neck pocket without modification...just so you know.
