Oh wow, Dr Newcenstein took the neck off the JTX he just got and put it on Toejam's former WRMG body. Looks kinda cool.

Actually that's not the neck from the new JTX, that's a JTX neck I got off Ebay some time ago. I had to modify the neck heel to fit on a Dinky-style neck pocket (DK2 HRF) because the JTX neck heel and fretboard end at the same point, with no overhang. Once I trimmed the heel down under the fretboard like a regular neck, it also meant the heel did not get thicker until the actual neck pocket (see delt's post in Tech about shaving a neck heel - this one ended up just like he was talking about - same thickness all the way up to the pocket).
Anyhoo, that neck wound up on a Performer Kelly body and Lerx bought it. I bought it back from him a while back, and put it on the WRMG body [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
I was actually hoping to score that rosewood boarded JTX that was on Ebay recently, to do the same mod to it and put it on another WR body.
These necks are insanely thin and comfy. It's long been my belief that Jackson does not put the right neck on their imports, and that they should swap them all around, because every time I put a DK neck on a Warrior, or a Warrior neck on a DK, I get a better player than either one was originally.
The only thing that hasn't ended up better so far is putting a neck from one DK body on another DK body, but that was the only neck I had for the body.

Anyhoo, I need more red paint to do the long wing tip and the back a bit more. All I've got left is purple, gray, white, neon green and neon yellow paint [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
