• Know anything about a "Rhoads Legend" - 24 built?

Hey all, anyone know the story on a RR model called the Rohoads Legend? There were supposedly only 24 produced and it is a MIJ. Found what I think is a good deal on one, but I need some info. It would be cutting into my SL1 budget if I buy it, so it better be good!

Guitar Express had them last late fall/early winter.

Yeah, The Rohoads Legend! It looks like the one Roandy played.

...it would be MUCH cooler with 24 frets and I´m sure that peoples interesting would be much higher

Well, the price is at least very low

I've noticed the 24-fret ones place those extra two frets further down the body, making them hard to reach (like the King V). It would be better if the neck attatched two frets higher.

Answer #1: It's a tribute to Rhoads, and Rhoads designed the Concorde (Rhoads) with 22 frets.

Answer #2: The only production Jackson Rhoads w/ 24 frets currently is the JS30RR, which is a very low end axe with a low end tonewood and dot inlays and is made in India.
