  • Stealth EX Locking Nut

    Does anyone know off hand what type of locking nut is on the Stealth guitars?

    Its a 1-11/16th inch width. I recently mounted a stealth pro neck with a top mount and I'm certain you can use an R3 or R4. The R4 has slightly wider string spacing.

      My Stealth has a 1 9/16 nut but it doesn't have a trem.

            Thanks for the help. I do know that a R3/R4 would work but I was hoping if some knew what type came stock. I'm thinking that maybe a R4 because I read somewhere that the R3 was for guitars with bindings. I guess I'll need to take the strings off and check [img]/images/graemlins/idea2.gif[/img]

              R3 is for bound. You can just measure the string distance as well. The spread is 1-7/16" on an R4 from notch to notch.

                  The HX indeed has 3 hums. Mine is a really dark metallic blue finish. My wife's cousin bought one used a while back. Her cousin lives in Bolivia and was here on vacation when she bought it. I recently found out she sold it when she returned to Bolivia. I wanted to buy it off her and have GMW do a camo finish on it. Oh well.
