Re: my slsmg eds

Sweet guitar. I had a Soloist neck-thru EDS. The paint is even better up close. I just tried a SLSMG the other day.
I was impressed...couldn't believe it was an import. Cheers!

i think i'll leave the emg hz's in for now (by the time it goes thru my rack gear the signal is so processed it ends up sounding like the rest of my guitars anyway).
yeah it was me, you got a problem with that?

Also, why do they put the intonation adjustment screws backwards? I know the intone needs adjusted, and that seems like a pain in the arse getting to them from the pick-up side.

Ah, that makes sense. I never knew, it's my first Tuneomatic bridge, plus my lil brothers came like that as well... so I figured it was the way things were. I'll have to try and switch it around I spose.

As far as the HZ's, I figured I'd take mine to practice and plug it in, and see what was what. I'm no where near disappointed with the HZ's. My tone is so smokin now, I've vowed not to touch it until I actually get tired of it.

Other than thatm I love mine..

It sounds to me like the bridge is on backwards. The intonation screws are supposed to be towards the back pointing at the strap button. All my TOMs and STs are that way.

They were a little lacking for my tastes, not very toneful through my rig, but if they work for you more power to ya. They are a great guitar for the price (if you can get one cheap of course), the only issue that I have with mine is its slightly neck heavy, but with a good strap its a non-issue.

Well, the neck-heavyness probably depends on how much the body does weigh... I checked out two SLSMGs side by side today, and one of them did weigh a significant bit more than the other.

And a late congrats to cookiemonster, your EDS SLSMG looks awesome!
Great pics, too!
