  • What would be a good price for a RR Professional?

neck-thru, all white, with MOP inlays and Jackson, ebony bound fretboard. Asking price is $499, but I don't have a clue as to what this might be worth.

I assume it is an older one, because of the MOP Jackson logo. Forgot to get the s/n. Jackson pickups. Looked original, not breaks, but dings on the tips. Didn't find out if that includes the case or not.

Sounds like a early Professional to me , 90-91.I think that is a good price as they are equals to the USAs at the time.If you can live with it saying "Professional" on the headstock grab it.The last few I saw on ebay went for more.

I hear all the time that they typically go for $600-700.

That price is good. I'd pick it up.

For some reason, Professional doesn't bother me. I really like the MOP stuff. It's funny, because I have a Les Paul "Classic" and the decal on the headstock says "Classic" and the gets my goat, to the point I sometimes think of getting the headstock re-done.

Buy it! Buy it NOW! That's a really good price for that guitar. It's an amaizing price for the quality of guitar you are getting. The early Pros are probably the best deals on the market, and that's a good deal on an early Pro!

OK. I forgot one more thing - the serial number had been scratched out/removed from the end of the fretboard.

I'm not sure what's up with that.

                            The re-seller is a DICK!

The tip of the upper wing is pretty chewed up. There is a ding.

The "Rhodes Pro" is all white with black triangular control plate.

                            NO CASE!

The bridge is way too low. When you strum any stings/chords, the strings fret out.

Are you guys sure this is a good price ($499). I've seen some pretty cool stuff in the classifieds for close to this.

$499 seems on the high side then. Especially without case and the state of that upper wing + the removed SN, which means it's probably stolen.

Check the back of the headstock for 'USED'.
