1 Hum Mirror Bullseye KE3 ????

My latest project. Something a little different. A kind of Zakk meets Marty thing. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I got some colored mirror...so I'm having fun with it. I turned this blue trans top KE3 into a single hum, bullseye mirror top. The blue doesnt show up as mirror too good in the pics...but it is.

I blocked out the neck pup cavity with a block of oak, routed the top out about .118 in. deep, and inlayed the mirror. Turned out pretty good I guess. The next project is a RED cracked mirror warrior for Mr. Mosh.

Absolutely great work there Doug. Hey, you can still see a bit of the original blue flametop on the body! Imagine alternating regular mirror bullseye "rings" and flametop bullseye "rings"... how gaudy and tacky (but very creative) would THAT look?
