I looked at Jackson Stars online www.jacksonstars.com/top.html And I could not find the Kelly Star. Has Jackson Japan ditched this body style? Say it isn't so? SteveMan you know anything about this? I wanted to order one of these.

ikebe-gakki.com has one. Some guy on jemsite was claiming that they would ship overseas, so it might be worth asking them if you really want one. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]Comment

In any case, Ishibashi might also be able to help you if you have a custom order. I know that actually my custom quote was cheaper than the production model(non-inlaid ebony board, single hum, string-thru), so you might want to go for that. Plus you only wait 4 months compared to 12 or more for the US CS.Comment

Yeah I noticed the same on the website... my guess is that the production model didn't sell extremely well so they discontinued it. But I'm guessing they'll still be available as a custom order, and as veli said, depending what you want on it it could be cheaper than the production model was anyway. (Like if you get no binding, no inlays, only one hum, fixed bridge or whatever)Comment

I love the shape of that body. Apparently a lot of other people do as well. A body sold on ebay a few months ago for over $300 IIRC.Comment
