Another serial number question

Here's a ps1 on sale on e-bay. I thought the performer series excisted after 95 and should have a serial number starting with 96?

But this one has a serial number like 10...

Indian-made. 0 and 1 serials with 7 or more digits are Indian, and as far as I know, Indian made models never had less than 7 digits. Japanese-made 1990/91 imports are 6 numbers starting with 0 for 1990 and 1 for 1991. Even Japanese neckthroughs starting with a J have 6 numbers after the J.

Weren't the performers Korean made? I've never heard of them being made in India?

They are Japan - Korean - Indian if I'm not wrong [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Performers are Japan and Korean-made. Not Indian.

Yes, it is Korean. You can tell by the serial and the very widely spaced 12th fret markers. I wouldnt sweat it. I have a korean ps2 and its just as nice as my Jap jackson imports.

I don't know. I can't see eBay from work, but Carbuff is correct about the 12th fret markers. Serial # I'm not sure about.

All the other confirmed Korean models have the dots far apart.

It says it's a fusion HH but where is it made? and when? Is it a before 1995 made in japan?
