• Unknown model. Help me!

Here it comes!!! My first post on the forum.

Here´s a picture of the guitar.
http://muusikoiden.net/dyn/tori/63265.jpg

I don´t have a single clue about the name of the model except I know that it´s from the 90´s and it´s a Japanese model I think.

Could someone help me out a little bit and tell me more about the guitar+What is it worth.

Looks like a DK3 but I thought they had bound necks and heads

I have one of these with reverse headstock and reverse inlays

I also didn't know what my guitar is but now I think it's a dr-x

What is the serial number? It's not a DR-X (not a Dinky Reverse) but it could be one of the Musician's Friend "exclusive" Pro models or something similar. A number of the online/catalog retailers did that sort of thing in the `90s much like we've been seeing lately with places like VWall and GuitarXpress.

Everyone can see it's not reverse I think But the specifications seem the same to me Except being reverse

Is it an arch-top? If it is, then it's an AT-X. Those did have regular heads and regular sharkfins.

Re: Unknown model. Help me!

As you can see from the picture it´s an arch-top. I searched the google and it definitely looks like the at-x so I guess it is that.

Thanks a lot!!!

Re: Unknown model. Help me!

I really doubt the AT-X has a basswood body like that review says though. I've seen a german review that said it had a Poplar body - which sounds a bit more plausible, considering that my RR-X also has a poplar body...

Rattlehead, pop the neck off yours and check it, will ya?
Note: That may also tell you for sure what model it is; The model number and year should be stamped into the neckpocket and on the neck heel...
