Mostly it goes like this:

Pro: Fins and binding (except RR5 which has no binding), Duncan Designed pickups, made in Japan
MG: EMG HZs, some have fins, some have Piranhas, some have binding, made in Japan
X: Dots, no binding, made in Japan, some may be made in India
JS: Dots, no binding, made in India

but yeah check Jackson's site for details.

Only the pro dinkies have binding. Aside from the RR5, the KE3, RR3 and SL3 are also lacking it.

Note the "D" at the end of those (except the WR) - that denotes "Sharkfin" and is an optional feature [img]/images/graemlins/poke.gif[/img]

The RR3 and KE3 both NEVER had binding, you are out of your mind....leave the import specs to those of us who could never afford anything nicer, we know what we are talking about [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

And although the D DID designate sharkfins when the X series was first introduced, none of the non-sharkfin versions are even offered anymore so the X series does indeed have sharkfins as far as the chart is concerned.
