It played decently. I think it needs a nice setup and better single coil pickups. I didn't like the bridge pickup that much either. What model is this?

What are the specs? The shop didn't have much. What's the SS stand for? Short Scale? Weren't all Fusions short scaled?

Pott,

In the link thread, there is a link to a website with old Jackson catalogs. I found out the Charvel Fusion I bought comes with a J90C. Your's looks like someone put in an aftermarket pickup.

Could be, but I don't recall the J90 being a blade pickup though I could probably be wrong.

You posted before I fixed my post. Yep, not a J90C. Might be a DiMarzio X2N.

Yeah could be... I remember I didn't like it much. Maybe I'll give her a better try.

I have an L500XL in mine. I didn't like at first, but then it started to grow on me. Now I think I'll be keeping it in there with a set of cool rails.

The rails give a great Judas Priest tone.

I thought the J-85 Jackson pickup was a dual rails pickup which would be period correct for that guitar no?

Re: What model is this? (never seen before)

the Fusion SS came with a bladed Jackson pickup, just like the one in your link. I'm not sure what model pickup that is though. And I can't tell you what SS stands for, but there were a whole range of Jackson Fusions in the early 90s with that type of model designation, eg. SP, LT, XT, HH

here's the first link that came up on Google for "Jackson Fusion SS"

and here's the second:

The second link didn't work. Too bad because I am French hehe... And my Dutch isn't too good so I didn't get all of the first link. Thanks though

That is because Goofy Gary didn't write the link correctly

Try this:

That French website was better hehe, at least a language I get
There was nothing on the Dutch page I think so I didn't bother trying to translate. But I'm quite rusty.
Were these decent guitars you think? I'm not especially interested, more curious than anything else.
