JS30WR body with the 3x3 neck I got from DSS3

Re: Dr Newcenstein\'s latest abomination

I ain't done with it yet

Oddly enough, I won this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7335610996

But got the blue one (which looks purplish in person)

I had to think about whether I wanted to send it back for the right one or just stick with it, since it's going to get modded later. Since I've already swapped the neck, it stays with me.

Plus I've already got 2 black Warriors, and one other blue, so this one makes 2 blue.
Balance and all that

Not sure what model Dinky the neck came from, but it's got a more angular heel than the original WR neck - had to raise the bridge to get the strings off the frets
The bottom of the bridge is maybe an inch off the face of the guitar.

The pickups don't sound too bad - kinda vintagey - definitely not suitable for whatever Thrash -n- Bash is currently going around

is it the input jack you see on the far leftern lower body section?
didn't know they were plugged there?

Man, that looks killer!! Love how they did the output jack on the bottom like the old-school Warriors!

Yeah me too - makes it way easier to spot Indian-made bodies now that they've switched to using correctly-spaced 12th fret dots on the necks (bridge type notwithstanding)

I really like that one! Now just don't give it the Halford treatment, ok?

I'm guessing that neck came off that special run of DXMGTs made for Guitar Center with the 3x3 headstock.

You really like those 3+3 headstocks, huh?

I would like to put a neck like that on the JSKingV ,that would look cool.

After doing those Schenker mockups, I seriously thought about getting a JS30KV body and doing that with this neck

Looks insane! I love it! It did come off the limited run of DXMGT's from guitar center, and had an angled neck pocket.

How's the bugger play, eh?

Low and smooth

It's long been my theory/belief that Jackson puts the wrong neck on their guitars, because every time I take a neck from one model and put it on a different model, it works better than the original, and the original can't be set up the exact same way (action, relief, etc) without shimming the neck. Put a DK2 neck on a WRMG and the WRMG will be a far better player than it was originally.
