  • DK2N ?

I have a line on a used DK2N for $300. I've never heard of these before. It is all black, bolt on neck, string thru body, sharkfin inlays. Is this a good deal?

That's what the tag said. I never heard of that either. It had 2 humbuckers instead of the H-S-S like most dinky's. I couldn't find any pics. or info anywhere else online.

Wonder if it was a limited run for a certain shop?? GC does that fairly often.

Hmmm. I was gonna say if it's 3x3 that's a GC special order, but I'm not sure about that one - I don't follow GCs trends, and Jackson sure doesn't have enough people to keep the site updated regularly with that kind of info.

                  Re: DK2N ?

Hm, I wonder if it might be a DK27... baritone scale?

Because these are string-thru with two humbuckers, and it wouldn't be the first time people get the model name wrong.
You'd better make sure it isn't, otherwise you might be put off by the longer scale length (at least me, I don't like baritone necks).
