Yeah, amps are different, since GC does stock a lot of Mesas and Marshalls, as well as a few Bogners and such. But I suppose that high-end guitars are a harder sell, since the guitar is such a more 'personal' thing than an amp, and is also more subject to wear and tear in the store compared to an amp. Not that GC seems to worry much about wear and tear on its guitars...

where can I find replacement hardware? been looking at schaller but couldn't find a bridge for it. I've bought a NOS jackson ke-7 recently and would like the grey hardware to be replaced by black hardware [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Best I've been able to do so far is here - they've got chrome and gold. They've got them listed here , but you have to buy the tailpiece, too, which you don't need.
