Just a couple of shots from my band's most recent show. I was playing a Soloist Pro (refinished in Black Pearl at GMW) with a Dinky XL Pro standing by for backup. My brother played a Charvel neck-thru, a 550XL as I recall.
Yup. And let me tell you, the "promotional" description the label printed in the CD booklet is about as far off the mark as possible. I think whoever wrote that had spent a long weekend and a lot of euros up in Amsterdam...
As anyone who has heard the CD here would tell you, disregard all Hatebreed references, and the entire "metalcore" description for that matter.
We have talked to a couple of people about a Fargo or Moorhead show. I have a cousin who works at a VFW up there and said he might be able to handle the booking for us, so it will probably happen one way or another. If we do make the trip, I want to put something together with another Twin Cities band and a couple of local F-M bands that can bring a good crowd of their own.
And yes, I'm the guy with the long hair. I bought my brother that Charvel as a birthday present...well, 50% of it! Can't have him playing crappy guitars.
Hey if you can swing it wouldnt mind catching your band & SOP (Sons of Posiedon) @ the same show. I haven't heard anything by Necktie Suicide, but I heard they are supposed to be good.
I've heard of Necktie Suicide before. We're working out a couple of big shows here at home in the fall, and then will be trying to put together some out-of-town gigs.
