I'm going to refinish my DK2S. How hard is it to remove the neck and reset it back? Is it completely bolt on with no glue?

No glue on the Jackson bolt ons. You can easily unscrew the neck and replace it without any trouble. The detachable neck Dinky!"Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,

Re: Refinishing/Removing Neck and Electronics
there's nothing wrong with sanding the body, but it's alot of work. you must also use 100grit to start off and ease into 600. why are you doing this? it wouldnt make a tung oil finish look to good, as your prob aware that most fairly inexpencive bodies are 2+ pc.

Re: Refinishing/Removing Neck and Electronics
Well, when i say 'refinish' I mean 'repaint'. I found a source for nitro paints and I don't really dig the color of the body. I want to get the best finish possible so I'd prefer to remove the current paint completely and reprime etc...
