SLSMG what!?

hey people,
What's with the SLSMG??? it looks great, great specs, been out for almost a year tho and i havent really seen ne reviews or heard ANYTHING about it? What's with that?

I was hoping to get one, but if no ones buying it, kinda makes you wonder........

Seriously I have an SLSMG and its an awesome guitar. I swapped out the HZ's for an EMG 81/85 set and had it setup w/ .10-.52's and it plays awesome. It has a really thin and playable neck. Love the headstock too!

I posted pics of it before we changed boards. I may post some new ones soon.

Well most of the price differance is the SLSMG is neck thru and Mohagony. The DKMG is bass wood and a blot on. I hvae on at work on layaway and it too is an awsome guitar. I probably will be swapping out the pups though for some Duncans once i get it home.

The DKMG is not basswood, it's alder. The $400 is justified by it being neckthru, mahogany, and just generally badass.

aren't the trans finish dkmg's the only ones with alder? i heard this somewhere, i forget where. supposedly the solid finish dkmg's are basswood. please replay BM, cause i really would like to know the composition of my dkmgt in black forest, a solid finish. thx

The DKMGGC37 is alder with a maple cap the Dkmg standard production is bass wood.
