Re: Jackson use foto flame?
Bummer. I'm looking at an early 90's Stealth. Looks great in pics, but I suspect it's a foto flame, and that doesn't thrill me. The owner says it's "very shallow flame - it could go either way". To my eye it's immediately obvious in good light, so I think it's likely a foto.
Yeah - post a pic, please. Thanks.

Re: Jackson use foto flame?
That eBay Stealth is a genuine flamed top, and the back is also flamed maple. Not a foto or gravure top at all. Jackson's original Professional guitars were leaps and bounds ahead of what the series is today. Back then (from 1990 until around '93) they rivaled the USA versions in tone, playability, electronics, hardware, finishes, and wood selection. As has been mentioned before, rumor has it that Jackson ended the original Pro line when sales began cutting into the USA guitars."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."
