Charvel CX 692

I recently purchased this guitar and I cannot find any info on it. I understand from the guys at www.sandimascharvel.com that this is an import guitar. The serial number is 367441. It is a red strat body with two single core charvel pickups and a charvel humbucker pickup The floyd rose tremolo and other hardware is chrome. Is the model number correct? Can anyone tell me when this guitar was manufactured, and anything else about it?

Is that a CX 296? I have a CX 290 that I'm pretty happy with. According to the old Jackson web site, the CX series was made in Japan in 1992, basswood body.
