Curiosity got the better of me the other night, and I temporarily removed the bridge pickup to get a better idea of what I would be facing when it comes time to replace it with a Seymour Duncan Trembucker. After I peeked beneath the stock pickup I wondered if this was a musical instrument or a computer component, lol. The wires have with a flat multi-pin type connector where they go into the pickup, no soldering. Since I also noted that they are passive (no battery in the control cavity), I take it that it would be quite possible to use the S.D. unit with the stock Jackson neck pickup, as long as the wires are properly configured?
