when jackson release this new batch of guitars, how long should i expect the uk distributors to start importing into the uk? i've seen usa releases and they always get them well before any other country. should i predict 3 months after whatever the official release may be or longer?

When was the last Jackson import with a Maple board? The Dinky Reverse (Stone finish and Purple) from the mid 90's?

I believe the JRS and SDK-2 models around 1997 were the last maple boarded imports.

I'll be interested to see if the USA models also come out with maple boards. Seems a shame to put them on imports and not have a USA model as well.

Maybe we can convince Jackson to introduce a new Student series Soloist, Dinky, and Rhoads with Maple boards and make them available in a few solid colors only to cut down on cost. It would be a perfect opportunity for a 24 fret Rhoads that there seems to be so much demand for. I bet they would sell like crazy!!! [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
