    Hmm. That's odd. If the frets were spaced closer together on the Warlock, that would mean that it had a shorter scale length than the Charvel, but the BC Rich website lists the NJ Warlock as having 25.5 inch scale (the same as Charvel/Jackson). Did you ever compare the distance between nut and bridge saddles on the two?

    Oh well. I hope you can find someone who can answer the question about the KV though. I personally can't remember ever seeing a KV with a 22-fret neck, but I'm pretty new in the game...

      Sunbane, 22 fret necks will always have wider fret spacing than 24. Look at a Fender or any other guitar with 22 frets and 25.5" scale and compare it to a Jackson or other guitar with 24 frets and same scale. Some people don't like 24 because the frets get closer and they have problems with getting their fingers in the higher frets.
      BTW, some of the older King Vs did have 22 frets.
