Country of origin

Since catalog and price list contain no information about the country of origin for the import Jacksons, I am curious where these models are made. I know that the Professionals are made in Japan. But where are MG, X, J, Performers (discontinued) and other series made? As far as I know, the X series were originally made in India, and then their production was moved in another country.

all the current imports are made in Japan, with the exception of the J series, which are made in India

You are correct that the X series used to be made in India. Starting in 2002, production was moved to Japan. Also, some Performer series (ie, EX & P series from the mid 90s) were made in Korea.
