  • Please help with some advice

    Hello guys,

Please help me with a decision…
What are the important differences between the JT 500 and JT 580 ?
I want to buy a DXMG made in Japan with the JT 580, but I can only seem to find the JT 500 version of it (used) and it’s just around the amount of money I have. Is this a good deal or should I save for the JT580 version ?
I have 350$ to spend and this model is around 300-350$ on ebay.

Any other idea for a very good, fast playing, 2 hum,floyd,24 frets Jackson around 350$ is appreciated.

    Rock on !

I have researched this myself. IMO, the Japanese DXMG would be worth waiting for. Look around this forum and read about the India Jacksons. Now go click on the Onlinestagegear.com logo at the top of this page and talk to Matt about getting a MIJ DXMG (the one w/ the 580 trem).

man, if you don't want to wait, or matt from OSG doesn't have what you want. there are so many jacksons on ebay. i do an ebay jackson search every day just to see if something catches my eye. and the other day i found a fusion xl and now its mine for $330. i'm happy. anyway. check out the charvels too. you shouldn't have any problem finding a good jackson in that price range.
