Oddly enough, I just got a Firebird Pro with the same type of saddles (chrome). They are in fact discontined, but you should find suitable replacements at www.stewmac.com

I've been at this for nearly 2 months now and only happened to find your site 30-odd minutes ago.

    The story so far:
A saddle on my RR4 busted open one day.
So I go to my local music store, the people in charge of the guitar department look at the busted saddle...

...and make 2 15+ minute phone calls.
"I'm sorry this saddle isn't made anymore, but we can try an other more-recent Jackson saddle."
So they give me one free-of-charge to try out.
    It's different, yes.
I get pronounced fret buzz with it.

Just before I decide to buy me 6 of these I first find the e-mail adres of a guy in Germany @ FenderInt'l
After 1+ months of e-mailing back and forth he's sent me these:
    http://members.lycos.nl/mbmarduk5612/Jackson_Tremolos/
...most of which's saddles SEEM like the free replacement I got.
He's never mentioned the busted one and this leads me to believe he hasn't even taken ONE look at the above pix (which I sent him).
On Monday he's re-sending me the reorder# for black JT580xxxxxx saddles, or so he said.

    My query:
Anyone here recognize the busted saddle? Which are they? And are they REALLY discontinued?
    Thanx for any help.
    BTW, the serial# is...
