for the type of single coil slots seen on these two guitars... if you were to replace the pickups with aftermarket single coils... would they fit? Or would they only accomodate single coil pickups from EMG? Since most aftermarket single coils (except EMGs) seem to have that little triangular "tab" attached to them, and so wouldn't fit onto guitars like these two.
I ask 'cause I have a guitar with this kind of single coil pickup route, and I want to change out the stock pickups.

I believe you can custom order both Duncans and DiMarzios without the "lip" on the pickups. I'd say contact any one of them for details and pricing.
