my friend who is a newbie at guitars brought over his jackson dinky so i could restring it.

i want to know what kind of dinky this was cuz after i was done with her i played a Dim 7th arpeggio and i was blown away

it had chrome hardware, rev. head and rev fins. it was red in color, 2 hums with black mountin rings, the input jack was slighty lower towards the ground,it had a black neckplate with just the serial number all i could remember was 990 , the tremolo spring claw was blue dont know if that helps but never seen one with color

    Re: which dinky???

Like you said...It's a dinky, but those features you said come with almost all dinkies so I don't think this is a question that we can answer. Maybe ask your friend what model it is?

            Re: which dinky???

            Thats a DX10D

Made in India up until last year, now they are made in Japan.

Some Indian made Jacksons can be dogs, as it's hit and miss with the QC, but if you get a good one, they can play just as nice as the Jap DK2

            I've owned both.
