  • Surfcaster model I.D.

I recently purchsed a used Surfcaster and was wondering if anyone could tell me what model it is.It's trans-ivory, maple board w/ ebony fins,1 lipstick and 1 covered hum (Duncan Design), tune-o-matic (wrap around) bridge, black binding around body, neck, headstock and soundhole. It also has 1 volume and 1 tone, 3 way toggle and a black pearloid pickguard. I thought it may have been a SC-1, but the truss rod cover is plain black and doesn't match the pickguard like other ones I've seen. BTW, it is a Jackson, not a Charvel.

Sounds like an SC1 with just a different truss rod cover.

My SC1 surfcaster also came with the black
truss rod cover. I've seen SC1's with both
the perloid covers and the black covers. I
wish mine had the perloid one!

Yeah, I wish mine had a pearloid truss rod cover too. BTW, would anyone know where I might be able to get one? I know it's not a big deal, but I think it looks really good.
