Re: The UPS man cometh....

Nice fusion. To tell the truth, I could never get used to the 24.75 scale. I'm just too used to my 25.5's that I never look at the fret board. And when I tried a 24.75, I fucked up alot so I always had to look down.

Is that an Ebony board with MOP fins?

Why, yes indeed it is!
I'm not a fan of rosewood, so I'm stoked that I found this!

Fusion PRO? They had bound rosewood boards. I've got one myself.

That is a early Fusion Pro a 1990 with MOP , ebony board with binding and a Jackson Schaller trem.Basicly a USA with "Professional" on the headstock.I think the only big difference is the neck and body wood. The USA had popular body and a oiled neck. The Pro had a alder body and satin finish neck.

I am glad you like it Steve it is a sweet guitar.I sucks I had to sell it but sometimes you have no choice.

'Tis OK, it was in a case!

I've decided to scratch the decal idea, this thing looks just fine as is, especially with the ebony board and MOP sharks.
I think you're right about it being damn close to the USA model of the time-- there's no other way an import could be in such great shape after almost 15 years!

I'm gonna swap out the pup this weekend and she'll be good to go.

Mike, I'll take good care of her for ya

Nice guitar!
I'd need one of these too.

Interesting. It's not mentioned that way in the old MoAIP. It could be wrong, or it could be one of those anomolies that Kevin E mentioned when I talked with him about it.
