Looks like some sort of string-through Soloist to me. You bought it without even knowing the model?
Jackson Soloist archtop professional...
(like Charvel 750), but with ebony fingerboard...
Must be mahogany body with maple top, set neck.
production: 1990-1991
I want same guitar...or Charvel 750.
SLS is SuperLight Soloist, and I thought those all had the 3x3 pointy headstock?
Anyhoo, it certainly looks like an Archtop Soloist (not SLS), though I could be wrong. Did you get the serial number?

deLuther just about nailed it.
Jackson Professional Archtop Soloist made in Japan 1990-1991, just like Jason's AT in the gallery.
Awesome guitar! You will love it. Dunno about the LSRs, but still very cool.
However, it is similar to a Charvel 750 in appearance only, the bodies are quite different.
The 750s are quite thick, whereas the Pro ATs are much thinner.
They're both equally kickass guitars though.
Thanks guys!
I've never tried the lsr tuners, any info about it?Do they keep tuning better than traditional tuners? It's easy to change strings?(yeah!!no floyd rose pain in this axe!!)
