Just Got Her Back From The Shop! Need Help

I got this Jackson about two months ago. Had my guitar tech put an emg 81/sa and a carvin pickup I had around my house. Don't know too much about the guitar itself; was wondering if you guys can help me out.

Well, the name on the trussrod is the model name - Dinky SL? Professional
means Made in Japan, early-mid 90s.

thats dinky std(standard). the thing i liked about those guitars is that the inlays matched the body color along with the pickguard. an early 90's guitar i believe. closer to the lower end of the dinkys. awesome guitar though. wouldn't mind picking one up if i could find the right color. hope this help.

I had one similar to the one you have These are great guitars.Its a 93 judging by the serial number but if you will check your price guide these were made from 91 thru 93.The MSR was 895.00 new 95% condition still brings 450.00 mint brings 625.00.These are getting harder to find you have got a nice one.BTW do you have the original pickups?

I sure do Richard. the pikcups match the guitar just like the inlay and headstock do. The pikcups have age to a nice creamy color. My only beef with the pickups was that i just needed the output that thoses emgs provide. You can nail some sweeet Maiden and Priest tones outta the jackson pickups. Ill post up a the pic of it later.

I've got a set of red pickups from one of those - thought about getting a white single and a blue hummer to go with my red hummer and put them in a body, then have it painted with some sort of patriotic motif (flag, eagle, 9/11, etc etc)
