I've noticed on dinkys that black hardware isn't offered, even on the solid colors...lately I've seen the "pile o' skulls" dinky, which looks like it's got black hardware. Anybody got an opinion on the choice of chrome or black hardware?

Black for most graphics and lighter solid colors (red, yellow, white, orange, etc etc) but chrome for darker colors and flame tops as it contrasts better [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
I'd also keep black hardware on the Blue Orange Flames, but Chrome on the regular black and red Hot Rod Flames, as that's based entirely on classic hot rodded cars, and they always looked best with a black body, red and yellow flames, and lots of chrome trim, so the guitar may as well bow to that tradition.
