    Just got my new DK2S

    Guys I just got my new DK2S and just thought I post my opinion and a pic. It's truly beautiful, a real player and I'm really loving this infinite sustain thing.........
    The bridge and middle PUPS have gotta go though.

    Does the sustainer unit work well for you? Any drawbacks?

        Congrats! Looks great! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] My son had one in trans black. Great guitar and the Sustainiac is a fun addition. Key to using it is muting the other strings. It can get a lil' out of control if you're not careful. Seems to have a mind of its own. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

        +1 on swapping out the bridge/middle pups. Try out a Duncan Distortion in the bridge. Had one in my son's and I've got one in my Crimson Swirl DK2 and it smokes in these guitars.

            I have one in trans blue.

            If you like it now, wait till you change out the pups for some decent ones... then the Sustainer will really come to life.

            I installed a DiMarzio Super Distortion in my DK2S, and the difference between it and the stock pup is night and day. Made the Sustainer work much much better in all its modes too.

                glad i didn't buy that dk2ff. i've gotta get a dk2s for definite. i'd be tempted to swap the chrome hardware for black though...
